RW Loss Adjusters Ltd was founded in 2023 to provide expert loss adjusting services for premium clients.
Founder Richard Wakeham has been working as a loss adjuster since 1997. He’s a rural Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) and a Chartered Insurer and Loss Adjuster (FCILA, ACII).
Richard works with insurers, brokers and MGAs to handle large and small losses.
He works on high value property, top quality contents, farm and estate claims, including agriculture, livestock, bloodstock and agribusiness.
Richard also uncovers fraud claims and handles the recovery and resale of stolen artwork and antiquities.
He led the private client divisions of two international loss adjusting firms. Prior to that, he spent 20 years helping to grow a successful loss adjusting company, which led to a management buy out.
Richard grew up on a farm and studied at the Royal Agricultural University prior to working for some time in National Hunt Racing.
He understands that when premium policyholders entrust you with their claims, they’re not just seeking financial compensation; they are seeking peace of mind.
Outside the office, Richard is a keen sportsman and lives with his family close to York.
